Move recognized text into Write
A Read capture can hand recognized text to Write. The handoff supports editing and playback, but it is not a document submission or file-sharing workflow.

Ways to explore this area
- Try typing, predictions, and dictation separately so the team can observe which controls appear and how each result is reviewed.
- Test speech recognition with representative room noise and short, non-sensitive phrases.
- Compare View Mode and Input Mode entry, playback, highlighting, and typing-feedback settings.
- If Sound Boxes is in scope, confirm that the optional tool is enabled and that two-to-six-box activities are understandable.

- Play each word and Play each sentence provide optional feedback while typing.
- Speech-to-Text engine, model, silence, and timeout settings affect dictation.
- Enable Sound Boxes controls whether Sound Boxes appears in Write.
Considerations and limitations
- Dictation can omit, substitute, punctuate, or insert words. The user must review the recognized text.
- Advanced STT includes automatic punctuation and may provide better accuracy, but it may take longer to return text and can insert words that were not spoken.
- Sound Boxes is optional and is hidden when its Tools setting is off.
- Write is a focused offline workspace, not a general web, cloud-document, email, learning-management, or final digital-submission workflow.
- A typing-first workflow that must stay digital through submission is not supported by Luma R1.
